Named “country of the thousand lakes”, Mecklembourg-Poméranie Western becomes one of the tourist areas of Germany. Its assets are its very diversified littoral and its nature which was preserved up to now, with its water and its “thousand lakes”. Approximately 260 natural reserves and zones are protected.
