Denmark, it is the Riviera of the Scandinavian countries. The winter is never very cold thanks to the maritime influence which strongly moderates the climate general. Between the end of May and mid-September the days are long and the clear and fresh nights. Denmark abounds in picturesque villages and cities, castles and historic buildings, and of preserved littorals energy of vast beaches of sand to small bays, while passing by pretty fjords.

The camp has a reception with kiosk and a nice big club house called HYTTEN. HYTTEN has modern sanitary facilities, toilets and common bath room which is especially an advantage to families with small children. It also holds a kitchen and living room which is often used for joint meals, for dance and other arrangements. But the fact that the camp is situated in the centre of Denmark makes it ideal as starting point for many interesting trips,. e.g. to Odense with Hans Christian Andersen's house (˝ hour), to Legoland (1 hour). Outside HYTTEN we have a nice, large terrace, which is frequently used for getting together in the afternoon where we enjoy our coffee, for grill evenings or just for being together and sun bathing. The terrace is next to the playground so that it is easy to look after the small ones. There are many possibilities of finding shadow and shelter, and our petanque court attracts often eager players and interested onlookers.
