With the Alva river on a side and Mondego of the other, water becomes the element dominating in the landscape with Tábua. In the south, the Alva river runs among terraces and forests of pines, bathing the villages of shist of Vale Miôto and Porto Pedrinho, while making contrast the dark colors of the houses with the water of crystalline color. In north, the Mondego river widens becoming a paradise for those which like the water sports.
